Hi, I’m Grace!
I’m a teacher in her mid 20s who is so, so, so passionate about living life to the fullest, getting better any way possible and making good change in the world.
I was an athlete all throughout my childhood. Due to a couple concussions in high school, I stopped playing sports competitively and instead shifted my focus to improving my overall health and wellbeing. Freshmen year of college I started going to the gym on campus with Anthony and some friends. I hadn’t experienced any radical gym moment where I completely fell in love it with. It was one of those relationships where I’d go to the gym and then stop by the dining hall on the way home for some chicken fingers and ice cream. I wouldn’t call it a vicious cycle, but I was careless and naive. Things changed the second semester of my junior year. A pandemic swept through the US and I, like many others, had a lot of “spare” time throughout my days now. During that time, I experimented with my fitness abilities and wellness strategies, cooked at home meals more, started learning about proper nutrition and truly redeveloped the way I think and act when it comes to my health, fitness and wellness.
Since 2020 I have graduated with a degree in education and started teaching, built a remote business and community, earned the title ultramarathoner, converted a Sprinter van into a home and traveled in it, became a fiancé to my best friend, taken in two cats who give us a run for our money daily, expanded my knowledge, skill set and hobbies & am now taking the next step towards helping as many people as possible move freely, think positively, and understand they are capable of so much!
