THE DREADMILL

In 2024, our co-founder, head trainer, and endurance coach Ant DiAndrea took on the biggest challenge yet. He took on the challenge of running one ultramarathon (31 miles or more) once a month, every month, for 10 months - all to raise money for orphans and inner city kids. Ant lost his parents at 10 years old and is from Philly, so it’s a cause near and dear to Grit and Gratitude’s heart.

No injuries. 2 100 mile finishes on the year. Over 2,000 miles ran. Ended the year with 3 placements - all in September and October. He earned the opportunity to run another ultra - PHL24 - to raise money for cancer patients in Philly running up and down the Rocky Steps at the Art Museum, totaling 11 ultras in 10 months.

Tune in above to learn more about the cause, how you can be apart of it, and the biggest race of Ant’s career so far - 48 hours on a treadmill.
